So you want to be a digital nomad, you want to travel the world and make money online. Or you just simply want some extra income, some beermoney, or diversify your income streams? Well you came to the right place. I will share with you some experiences about making money online. As we speak I am traveling the world, paying for everything with the money I make online.
The big difference between offlne and online business is that the threshold to enter the online world of making money is lower. In terms of ease as well as in terms of costs. There are a multitude of ways to make money online, so where do we start? Well first of all, the no skill part in the title is between brackets on purpose. Because if you can read this website you are more or less skilled enough to make money online. You can literally make money by reading/testing websites or watching videos.
If it sounds too good to be true....
It could still be true, but it probably does not pay that well. And with all things that attract a lot of interest, the world of online income is also flooded by scammy wesbites or dodgy advertisers. So to not waste your time we will share with you the good and bad experiences we had when it comes to making money online.
Get active to be passive
First of all we will differentiate between two ways of making money online, although the distinction is not always 100% clear. We will talk about active and passive (online) income. Passive meaning it generates money even when we are not actively putting in the work anymore. This could for example be some automated work or a website that continues generating money. Of course to get this source of income running takes an active approach!
The other source of income is the one where you really have to make your hours. You are performing a tasks and get paid for it, either by hour or by task. It just happens that you can fully do it online. Examples are website testing, reviewing and translating texts or giving classes through webcam.
Don't bet on one horse
In general it is advisable to try to get multiple streams of income, so not to depend on one website or provider alone. As such, you will not lose all your income when something happens to the entitiy providing your income. Trust me, this happens a lot, sometimes temporary but now and then permanently. Companies go bankrupt, terms of service change and trends die out. We ourselves always try to have at least 3 completely different sources of income but preferably 5. Somehow, 3 sources of 250 euro monthly feel better than 1 source of 800 euro. We will share with you the way we built up these income streams. For now, if you feel motivated: head over to our page about one of our favorite ways of making money online, by trading!
